Beauty Tips For Body Care
I'm looking to incorporate a vitamin C serum into my routine for anti-aging and acne scars but I'm not sure which one I should start. Obviously, the Skinceuticals one sets the gold standard, but it's way too expensive for me to justify. Even the Drunk Elephant one at $80 is too much. I've searched around in the sub and notice some highly recommended ones but they come with concerns:OST 20: I'm concerned about this one because it contains fragrance and no ferulic acid or vitamin E, which apparently optimize the effectiveness of vitamin C.Timeless: It seemed to be the perfect dupe for Skinceuticals because it contains LAA + vitamin E + ferulic acid and the company claimed its pH was very close to Skinceuticals, but I read a few reviews where people pH tested it and the pH turned out to be 6, which makes it pretty much useless for anti-aging?Nufountain: Concerned because it doesn't include vitamin E, but I'm wondering if that may be a good thing since I have acne-prone skin? Also, this brand just doesn't seem to be as popular.Deceim Ordinary: Haven't actually heard much about this brand but the price point was what really got me. I suppose it can't hurt to put down $5 to test the waters with this one?For anybody who has tried any of these vitamin C serums, what has your experience been and what would your recommendation be? Sorry for the lengthy post and thanks so much for your help!Edit: formatting
