[MISC] DON'T GIVE UP ON SCARRING :) Dermaroller success!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I just wanted to quickly share my story of success with the 1.5mm dermaroller. I unfortunately do not have before pictures because I was embarrassed of my skin before, but I just wanted to let you know that with patience, it does work.I have been using the 1.5mm for about a year and a half now and just started using the dermastamp/suction method to supplement my routine. I will roll in one direction (e.g., up, sideways, diagonally), about ten times over the area, and then switch to the next. (From my research...do NOT roll up and down or side to side...one direction only to prevent tearing.) Yes, there is often blood, and yes, it is slightly painful. After, I apply a copper peptide serum after each session - usually I spread sessions out by ~5 weeks. I also ensure that my dermaroller is clean by sanitizing it before and after each session, and that I don't have any bent needles. In between sessions, I apply vitamin c serum daily.I have seen a dramatic decrease in size of my rolling & boxcar scars. I definitely notice how my skin looks in all different types of lighting, and I can actually stand to look at myself in the mirror again whereas before I had severe body dysmorphia. I can't say that they are completely gone, but I have noticed an incredible change in the texture of my skin and I am so happy with my results thus far (even after the microswelling wears off after each session!).Again, I don't have photos to share, but I haven't seen a ton of positivity online surrounding scar reduction...so I wanted to share that it IS possible, even without invasive surgery! Don't give up!!
