Beauty Tips For Body Care
I hope this post belong here.I have I guess medium sized lips, not full and pouty, but not thin and narrow. My top lip tends to be fine in terms of texture. My bottom lip is the problem-- it's constantly dry and peeling all year round. I guess it's not as bad in the summer, but I still am conscious about it.The thing is, I started using chapstick in my mid teens and before then, I had established a bad habit of chewing, peeling, and licking my lips to relieve the dry and dead skin. I got used to the taste of blood when I peeled too much. Now I put chapstick on, but I feel it doesn't work. I'm putting a layer of lipid atop already dead and "calloused" skin. I feel like the chapstick just wears off and then reveals the dry skin again. Trying Vaseline now after reading an LPT and same thing.I heard of exfoliation and I tried that sugar/oil lip scrub, but I feel like my lips are too thick/calloused for any significant dead skin to come off. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong. So I'm still chewing and peeling to get rid of thick layers of dead skin. My lips always look patchy and gross. And still dry without some balm. What can I do? What should I do?I was never really taught about "beauty" in general so sorry if I'm a bit incompetent or naive. Thanks in advance.
