Beauty Tips For Body Care
My skin is really confusing me, I've referred to this post but I'm still not sure what the deal is. I used to have really bad acne and while I don't really break out anymore I have permanent scarring from it. I have large pores that look like blackheads that cover my nose and cheeks and my skin is shiny 100% of the time, freshly washed or otherwise. It gets more oily over the course of the day but it looks really oily even when it's not. Going off the post I linked I've tried Cerave Hydrating cleanser and Cerave lotion as well as aquaphor and jojoba oil, (not all at the same time) and while they seem to moisturize my skin, none of it really absorbs. Everything I use just exacerbates the shine, even if it's something light like Clinique DDMG. My skin usually looks dried out if I stretch it and builds up flakes if I don't use oil or moisturizer so I'm led to believe it's dry but any moisturizing product I use just makes me look more shiny. Using products made for oily skin just dries me out while I'm still left shiny. TL;DR - Skin feels dry and is shiny literally all of the time, large pores, moisturizers don't absorb, leaving a film on my face, and hydrating cleansers make the shine worse. Oily skin products dry me out and still leave me shiny. I'd really appreciate any help, I'm desperate at this point. Dermatologists just prescribe me oily skin cleansers and Retin-A which irritate my skin and don't help. I also have exfoliate cheilitis on my lips, could it be an internal issue?
