Beauty Tips For Body Care
The Ordinary claims the formulation combines two forms of next-generation retinoid actives in a combined concentration of 2% by weight. But I find it hard to believe they actually use more than 0.3% of the active Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate. According the Grant Industries (the supplier), you should use 1-3% of the Granactive Retinoid. But this is a solution of 90% Dimethyl Isosorbide and 10% Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, so the final maximum concentration would be 0.3% (source). Also Bisabolol, used in the ordinary product, is never used above 0.2%.So does The Ordinary only list the concentration of the sollution/mixture, meaning the concentration of the real active is less than 0.2%? I know many other brands use 0.1-0.2% of the single active Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate and that that's a very high concentration. You could ask the same question for their Buffet product, 25.1% of peptides is very unlogical. Most peptides are used in concentration of 0.1% or less, so you will never get to 25.1%. If you buy peptides you buy them in premixed sollutions, so do they list the percentage of the sollution, or the individual peptides?
