[Review] Neutrogena SheerZinc Sunscreen SPF 50

Beauty Tips For Body Care
So I've never really worn a good sunscreen in the winter (if at all), but I'm getting into chemcial peels, so I know I need to change that. When Neutrogena came out with a physical sunscreen, I decided to give it a go. The SheerZinc contains 21.8% Zinc Oxide, so it's a very high concentration. My skin: 20 years old, oily, acne prone, tons of SFs and CCs, generally sad. Coloring-wise, I'm pale with yellow undertones.Application: A physical sunscreen will be harder to rub in and apply well, but I think I have a good system down. I apply it to my face with my fingers and rub it in gently. Then I take a really dense flat top brush and buff any concentrated whiteness down into my skin. I usually do this before I do my hair, and do my makeup afterwards, so it has time to set. Results: I'm really liking this product. As someone with oily skin, product tends to slide around on my face, loosing the impact of blush, bronzer, etc. However, this sunscreen has the texture of a sticky/tacky primer, and is actually helping my makeup stay on. In my experience, the whiteness of the sunscreen took my foundation about a half shade lighter. This is actually perfect for me, because my foundation was about a half shade too dark now that it's winter. If you have a darker complexion, it might affect your skin tone more dramatically. Additionally, I use a powder foundation, which can end up leaving me super matte. This sunscreen under everything gives me the slightest bit of dew that doesn't look at all like oil.It seems to be agreeing with my skin very well too-- no additional breakouts, no additional CCs, not dehydrating or stressing my skin out at all. After using this product for about a week, I give it 10/10 for what it is-- a large particle physical sunscreen.
