[Skin Concern] [Anti-Aging] Chronic Dehydration - please help

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi My skin has been damaged due to dehydration for 2 years now. I have tried everything to get moisture back into my cheeks since I damaged them by using harsh stripping chemical astringents for a prolonged period. I really am scared that I have permanently damaged my skin from this. I am more scared that I have caused premature aging and wrinkles in my skin as a result of the amount of time that has passed with me lacking any moisture and using my face smiling while there being little to no moisture in my face. It feels tight all the time and I constantly have to be wearing some sort of cream or else it's unbearable. I have tried every cream and water based moisturizer in the stores, I've been using oils topically and internally like taking supplements like omega fish oils vitamin c and e. I just started taking borage oil more recently. I drink plenty of water and I have tried humectants like glycerine and hyluronic acid as well as a humidifier, but still no relief. I have tried to stop myself from smiling or even making any faces because I'm so afraid that I'm prematurely aging my skin. Every time I do it has the feeling of a wrinkle forming in the tight skin. I don't know what to believe because I have been to dermatologists and they just give me a cream and push me out, they don't really get what I'm going through. They said the skin should naturally repair itself and smiling isn't going to make wrinkles, but then I have read so much stuff about how dehydration causes wrinkles. "Further water loss in the top layer of our skin through external aggressions leads to lines and wrinkles looking deeper and more pronounced. In addition to these pronounced lines and wrinkles, when your skin is lacking in water additional lines are developed adding to the look of prematurely aged skin." This is just one article I read. And just my gut and common sense tells me that If you take all the water out of your cheeks it will do what a plum will do to a prune and cause all sorts of damage. I used to have really nice skin and I am living in complete misery because of what I did to myself. I'm really scared that what I did to myself destroyed my face and turned my once nice skin into skin that has been ruined and prematurely aged with wrinkles. I don't know what to do anymore, if anyone can help me I really would be so grateful. Thank you.
