Beauty Tips For Body Care
I find that phrase all the time in my research, and even my dermatologist says that every time I see her--"nothing will eliminate your scars, but ((xx)) product can reduce the appearance of them" ...but I've never understood: is it a permanent reduction of appearance, or is it only for as long as I stick to my routine? Does anybody understand that? Retin-A, for example, reduces the appearance of scars by thinning your skin and plumping collagen, so, if you stop it, will your scars will appear to deepen again? Lactic acid & other peels work by exfoliating the top layers, hence reducing the appearance, so if you stop exfoliating, do they return to their original appearance?? How do you know, when looking at a product that "reduces the appearance of scars," how long those results last?
