Beauty Tips For Body Care
Adult onset cystic acne started in undergrad at 19. Topical clindamyacine did not work. Fast forward to 23 and got on minocycline and Retin-a. Still had acne flair ups if I tried to reduce my antibiotic dosage. Increased Retin-a with little positive results. Now at 31 was tired of dry, flaky skin, tightness, and dull looking skin while still breaking out and oily to boot while using Cerave face wash and moisturizer. Stopped Retin-A completely and started using Mario Badescu acne face wash, toner, anti-acne serum, anti-buffering lotion for cystic acne, and AHA moisturizer. My skin is so much healthier now, not flaky, and a younger coworker said my skin was glowing. I almost cried. I apply the buffering lotion as preventative where I typically break out, and have had 0 cysts for 3 months since I switched. Went to visit my doctor recently and he agreed my skin looked great and took me off Retin-a and antibiotics after nearly 10 years on the stuff. Not sure if this will help anyone with adult acne, but I am so grateful I found this product line!
