Beauty Tips For Body Care
I used the Ordinary's 23% vitamin C a few days ago. This morning I woke up with a huge under-the-skin, no head type monstrosity on my cheek, I'm prone to a few of these, so I dabbed a bit of this charcoal/tea tree/ witch hazel on the spot, and instead of the reducing the inflammation like that mask typically does (I've been using it for 3 years now), it just brought it to a teeny- tiny head. At this point I count help but squeeze it (I know), and to my surprise loads of crap came out of it, which doesn't normally happen with the spots I get. So, does this sound like a purge or an irritation or just plain breaking out? Alternatively, is the poor vitamin C a red herring? Should I be looking at the glycolic acid cleanser I started using a few weeks ago and thought was fine? (I felt it wasn't exfoliating so I left it on my skin last night for a minute or two before rinsing it off which I don't typically do- it's the Pixi glow mud one)
