This is my first reddit post and I hope I get it right! I had to come here to say that you guys and gals are wonderful! I had apricot scrubs, alcohol, and some very drying face wash in my stash. I have used those things for years. I would say the whole, my face isn't clean unless it feels really tight, thing. I have used baking soda (I know) AND lemon juice (again, I know). I was starting to look old and tired and have breakouts. The only thing I was doing right was using sunscreen every morning. I was lurking on reddit one day and saw this sub and it just so happened that I had a huge chin zit I couldn't quit picking. Now, everyday when I open this computer I am reading this sub!What I have changed to: Ponds Cold Cream - Makeup removal Eucerin Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser -AM and PM (imediate results and the moisture department)Vitamin C from Foxbrim Serum- Am and PM ( saw a little more even tone within a week)Cereve AM Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 ( moisturizes better than the old school Olay spf I was using)Olay Regenerist micro-sculpting cream - AM ( this stuff just feels like heaven and I feel like I'm being moisturized all day)Cereve Skin Renewing Night Cream - PM (really thick and takes a while to really soak in...no solid opinion on it so far)Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer - PM ( just wanted to sort of prep for a stronger retinol but actualy have seen some results within a month and a half)My skin is no longer starving for moisture, my sun spots aren't as noticeable, and I have not worn foundation in two weeks. I do not look as tired either!I patch tested most of the new things but some I have used before if I forgot something while visiting the parents. ( Mom to the rescue with the good stuff!)I decided to order some PC stuff based on the wonderful things I have read from you guys. BOOM! There is 25% off for two days only on the retinol I ordered. After that I just had to come here and say thank you. Really, seriously, thank you.
