[skin concerns] I put lanolin on my face

Beauty Tips For Body Care
And I liked it. I actually used the nipple lanolin from target. My skin has been very displeased lately, being dehydrated and then I accidentally skipped a night of tazorac application which has really given me those horrid little peelies. Anyway, I was using CeraVe in the tub, which was just OK. Not magical or anything, but it kept the dryness and appearance to mostly acceptable levels. Then I ran out and didn't want to buy more since it is kinda pricey and it didn't work that well for me. So in a moment of desperation I applied a thin layer of lanolin. My skin has become more hydrated, softer, and I believe my acne has faded as well. I'm not sure I would want to do it every day, cause my skin is oily and so this oils it up a bit too much, but maybe a few nights a week.My routine is wash with CeraVe or first aide red clay cleanser in the morning, or just rinse with water. Then apply may coop raw sauce, usually PC BHA (although I've been holding off on that for a few days now) caudalie vinosource hydrating sorbet, and biore face milk.In the evening I cleanse with cleanser listed above, apply may coop raw sauce, caudalie vinosource hydrating sorbet and tazorac 1%. Last night used lanolin instead of caudalie.Anyway, has anyone used lanolin? From what I know it's a natural fat designed to condition sheep wool, so it sounds like it would be OK. (I also put some on my hair, that didn't work out as well) does anyone have any products they love for dehydrated oily skin?
