So I had what I thought was a cyst, which pissed me off because I was (for once) having an amazing skin week. It kept getting my painful and was HOT and red, but I get cysts sometimes, and I had a tonne of exams, so I kept putting it off. Plus, it was on my jaw hinge, so not that noticeable.Friday night, the pain went from 4 to 9, got a fever, and pain radiating from neck to ear. Went to the walk-in clinic and it turns out its a facial infection right on top of my sinuses. The doctor told me that if I would have waited till Tuesday (what I planned since that was my day off), chances are I would have had a thromboses in my sinuses and needed surgery and possible facial reconstruction.The swelling has mostly gone down, on some pretty powerful antibiotics, but there's still a 10% chance I may have complications. Here's a pic of it this morning. Can currently open my jaw now, so yay!Infection
