Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey guys! 28 year old female with normal-to-oily cystic acne prone skin, hormonal acne for the past 3-4 years or so. I've always had cystic and nodular acne with a brief interlude of nearly perfect skin between the ages of 17 and 24 (I had no idea how good I had it at the time or that my acne would return). During my early teens I had the benefit of great health insurance and would regularly go for cortisone injections and was prescribed Retin-A micro after no success with antibiotics, but now that I'm older I can't afford the great healthcare I used to get. I'm saving $ since I'm planning on seeing a dermatologist soon but in the mean time I use a probiotic, try to stay gluten and meat free, exercise 3 times a week and stay hydrated/moisturizer. I guess I'm looking for someone who can relate to this particular issue? My friends all have perfect skin 😑Lately my face has been fairly clear (for me) as I'm trying to break my skin picking habit and not squeeze pores or pimples. But sometimes I mysteriously end up with large areas of my chin swollen, red, and hard/painful. These areas remind me of the tough nodular patches I would get that would come to a cystic head eventually and drain, except that they can be 1-2" in diameter and don't really amount to anything! I literally woke up with this one overnight underneath a healing pimple that hadn't been inflamed initially and it affects the motion on the left side of my chin. Anyone else experience large swollen areas like this?!?!
