Beauty Tips For Body Care
Yesterday I was shaving my legs and then I pretty much peeled off my skin, same way you would with a potato peeler... It happened on the posterior shin area. I have two parallel cuts that are around 4-5 inches long and 1 inch wide and then under a little one that is pretty deep but its just a spot. After all the crying and freaking out, I somehow managed to calm down and make the bleeding stop. I bandaged it up on and tried to go on with my day. And yup, it hurt to walk. I changed the bandage again before going to bed, and it was horrible since the blood had dried up and it was like glued to the bandage and getting that off was just a pain I dont wish upon anyone lol, and then all that pulling made it bleed again :S (I was as delicate as I could be, really). So I stopped the bleeding again, cleaned it up with some water, put on a new bandage and went to bed. I put some ice on top and laid there waiting for the best...But no, that was not it, today I woke up and it literally looks disgusting lol. I changed the bandage again and this time it wasnt glued, thankfully, it was a lot easier to get off but the wound was completely wet in some kind of liquid. I don´t think it looks infected though... Now it´s clean and I´m chilling with my foot up and it hurts less to walk, it just feels uncomfortable.Ok, finally end of story lol... As you can tell, I have no idea what to do next?. I tried researching online and also here on reddit but the suggestions seem to be fairly different, some people say let it breath, no bandage, some say it heals better with a bandage, some say put antibiotic ointment on it, some say dont touch! ??? I personally feel I need the bandage cause the wound there is literally red meat lol and I dont want to get an infection but I dont think im able to rub any lotion on it right now, it is really sensitive ? Some people also say to keep it moist with lotions/ointments? How do you guys do that? I don´t understand... Please help me...... It´s summer where I live and this is such a let down, but it´d be worse to end up with bad scars from a stupid shaving accident xD.... I´m really worried about the scarring, so please you wise skin care people help me, I´d thank you forever...Td;lr: I potato peeled my leg while shaving. It´s bad. How do I take care of the wound so it doesnt get infected and/or scars badly ?PS: I can post a picture if necessary when I change my bandage later in the dayPS2: Please help homegirl to not scar her legs foreverPS3: Sorry my english is not perfect, second language...
