[ROUTINE HELP] When I use Clearasil, the pads come away dirty. Does this mean my cleanser doesn't work?

Like it says in the question really. I use a cleanser and then wipe my face with blemish pads, yet they consistenly come away dirty. Is this normal, or does it mean my cleanser isn't washing my face properly?
