[Research] This is what happens when you mix Vitamin C with Niacinamide

Beauty Tips For Body Care
As Kindofstephen already explained when Ascorbic Acid and Niacinamide are mixed in an aqueous solution a complex will form. This complex is called Niacinamide Ascorbate and will give a yellow color.I was interested to try this myself. I mixed about 20% Ascorbic Acid in regular tap water in the right glass, and mixed 20% Ascorbic acid + 10% Niacinamide in the left glass. Directly after adding the Niacinamide to the dissolved Ascorbic Acid in the left glas it turned yellow, see this picture. This complex forms in the pH range of 2 -6 (Guttman). Because I had a bottle of lactic acid, I decided to add some lactic acid. The yellow color went down, although didn't completely fade. I know this is not very scientific, but thought was interesting to share.
