Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi thereI've been browsing old posts about rosacea, and was hoping for some feedback on routine ideas to help my skin.Pictures: https://m.imgur.com/a/6ivrPIt looks oily and dirty and gross and it's making me sad. I had a baby in January and I hate pictures of myself with him and hate looking in the mirror because his cute little perfect skin makes me feel like mine is so, so awful.About 2yrs ago rosacea appeared in a patch on my cheek. I saw a derm who said "antibiotics for life or laser treatments" and that felt ridiculously extreme to me so I left it. It got worse.Right now I've had success just applying kids zinc based sunscreen to the area twice daily - it has helped reduce the area size and lessened bumps. Otherwise I only use lukewarm water and a generic face cloth to wipe my face at night. I don't wear makeup except some concealer for the rosacea patch.I'm interested in cleaning up my face with a fairly simple (maybe 2 or 3 product in the end) routine. From my post research, I'm interested in getting-evening primrose oil (to put on at night? I think)-Cerave hydrating cleaner (to clean the dirty looking pores and not flare up my rosacea hopefully?) or Neutrogena ultra gentle creamy cleanser-garnier micellar water (not sure if this is instead of a cleanser)-some sort of BHA product for cleansing (do i use different things for morning and night?)-some kind of spf sunscreen that preferably doesn't leave gross white patches because it's zinc based - I was going to check out Spf aveeno and Neutrogena mineralAny suggestions or corrections would be greatly appreciated. I live in Ontario.
