[Acne] Is there an at-home way to reduce pitted scars?

Dermatologist suggested laser but she said we can only do that once your active acne has gone away. It hasnt gone away in over a decade with or without medication. Currently trying gentler approach as I learn from this subreddit. But 2 years back, I started using Duac, a topical and I believe that caused me some pitted scars on both my cheeks. Is there a way to reduce them at home? what if I put tret on them and let a couple of layer of skin peel off? Or something else?Photo
