[Acne] Moderate to severe cystic acne for 8 years. Haven't had a pimple in a over a month with new approach.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have suffered from serious acne for most of my teens and my entire adult life. I have hyperpigmentation from years of never-ending breakouts and don't leave the house without foundation. When one pimple started to die down, another would pop up. Sometimes they would be the size of gumdrops. I am a dedicated skincare addict who tries to use the best products and who takes really good care of my skin, which helps some, but not enough. I became fixated on this idea that the problem had to be coming from within. I was considering accutane, but due to a history of depression (among other reasons) decided I'm not an ideal candidate.I started doing research online and after reading countless blogs, articles, and watching videos, I strung together the most useful suggestions and started a pretty intensive vitamin/ supplement routine. It has been a little over a month and I am acne free. I still have some tiny under the surface bumps (the squeezable kind you see in a magnifying mirror) and leftover hyperpigmentation, but not one cyst or significant pimple. I have been waking up amazed and in disbelief every morning. Regardless of what I eat, how stressed I am, how much water I drink, or how much I've slept, I still haven't broken out.I can't say if this will work for everyone and it is a lot to keep track of, but I know it has worked for other people and it is certainly working for me. I'm posting this to share with anyone who is facing the nightmare of cystic acne and I hope this can help someone else on their journey to clearer skin.-Vitamins-Morning:1 capsule Vitamedica healthy skin formula (I am using these primarily for their vitamin A and zinc content. They are the most important two things I came across in my research. I take them twice a day for a total of 10,000 IU vitamin A and roughly 50 mg of zinc. Vitamin A has the potential for toxicity so although people do take more, I wouldn't exceed 10,000 IU daily. You can also buy vitamin A 8000 IU as a gel capsule, and zinc separately, to take once a day)2 probiotic capsules (You're going to want to buy premium quality probiotics because unfortunately it does make a difference)1 capsule silymarin (milk thistle extract)1 gel capsule saw palmetto plus1 gel capsule krill oil1 tablet vitamin D31 pill vitamin B121 gel capsule vitamin E1 gel capsule borage seed oil1 capsule vitamin K2Night:1 capsule vitamedica healthy skin formula2 capsules probiotic1 capsule silymarin1 gel capsule saw palmetto plusSome of these are hormone helping, some promote general skin health, and some are there to help aid in proper and safe absorption of the vitamin A.Just in case, my products are as follows:Morning in order:Skinceuticals purifying cleanserSk-II facial treatment essence (wait until dry)Drunk Elephant C-firma (wait 15)Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream (wait 5-10)Elta MD UV clear SPF 46 (wait 15-20 before applying foundation)Night:Cotton pads + micellar water (to remove makeup) Simple or La Roche PosayPCA facial wash (double wash, I wear a lot of foundation)SK-II facial treatment essence (wait to dry)Biologique Recherche lotion P50 1970 (wait to dry) (my favorite)The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (*Added this week to improve pigmentation now that my skin is clear)The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% (*Added this week to improve pigmentation now that my skin is clear)Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream (wait 5-10) (or Biologique Recherche creme placenta if I'm feeling dry)I am so overjoyed to see these results. I have tried everything from lasers to my own high frequency machine and I've never seen anything like this. Hopefully I can fade some of this pigmentation and eventually be able to stop wearing makeup.
