Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've been following this forum for a while, and it's made me aware of all that could be done to help my face, and all that I still need to learn. I'm still confused by what's actually going on w my face, and came you, oh wise skincare addicts, for advice. :)Here is a current pic of my face, makeup free: https://imgur.com/gallery/evrIbI will take any and all suggestions, from what you think is actually wrong to routine changes to more drastic measures (ie resurfacing treatments). I have been battling w my face for almost 27 years, and have never had the confidence to go without makeup since I was 12yo. This impacts things like swimming w my children, and other activities I'd love to be more spontaneous for but can't .... because I have to spend so much time covering up my face.I've had issues w acne since I was 12yo (I'm almost 39yo now), at times resulting in severe cysts. I seem to go through big breakout cycles where my face explodes for no reason .... currently I'm doing pretty good, but I know I'll have another massive breakout again.I've had redness around my nose since when I was 12 yo.I had freckles as a child, but now appear to have excessively patchy and uneven skin that I can't figure out .... I think the chin is hyperpigmentation? But I can't figure out if the rest is that PIE/PIH I read about on the forum or something else.I get a lot of CC around my temples and often onto my forehead.I believe I have dehydrated skin, but I've tried Mineral Oil and it gave me an enormous cystic acne breakout. The reason my skin looks more "plump" in this picture is because last night was the night I did my PC treatment mask.My routine looks like this:AM: Moisturizer- Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer Sunblock - Clinique Super City Block spf 40PM: Cleanser - Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth {alternate nights} AHA - Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Transformation Gel OR BHA - Stridex Red Box Moisturize- Clinique Dramatically Different, every 3rd night PC Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment MaskI apologize for not linking items as I can't figure out how to do that yet (newbie!), but hopefully this gives you all something to go on.Again, whatever you can offer will be appreciated as I'm still very new to this. I'm just looking for some help so I can finally, finally, begin feeling confident in the face I was given.Much thanks.
