[Skin Concerns] Is it beneficial (or at least not harmful) to use a SLS containing shampoo and body wash (say at least once every four days) if I shower using hard water?

I know pretty much everyone hates SLS in this sub becuase its a very harsh detergent, but if only hard water is available in my house, are SLS shampoo okay then? Or at least not harmful?I don't shampoo daily..I do it at least once every three or four days.
