Beauty Tips For Body Care
This may be a bit silly to be concerned about, but recently I purchased the La Roche-Posay Anthelios SX Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 15. The big draw for me was the fact that this product offers UVA protection using Mexoryl SX (Ecamsule). The bottle also seems to make the UVA protection it offers as its major selling point. However, what concerns me is that this product doesn't claim to offer the protection from early skin aging that other US sunscreens do. In other words, it doesn't contain the "...decreased the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging..." label. Is there a particular reason why a sunscreen product that offers broad spectrum protection (especially using such an advanced ingredient like ecamsule) wouldn't claim to minimize the aging effects of the sun? Does the lack of such a label mean that I am not actually protected from the risk of early skin aging? Should I be worried?
