Beauty Tips For Body Care
After a LOT of skepticism I finally tried Vaseline on my skin and it's been working SO well! My skin definitely feels softer after using it and I think it's helping my acne spots stay smooth while treating them. But, the more I use Vaseline the more questions about how best to integrate it into my routine. Currently my routine is:AM Cerave moisturizing cleanser TO Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F TO Hyaluronic Acid TO Plant Squalene Cerave lotionPM: Cerave cleanser TO Retnoid 2% in Squalene TO Nacinamide and zinc TO EUK140 TO plant Squalene Cerave Lotion -potential Vaseline application-I've read that Vaseline shouldn't be applied over top of retinoids, AHAs or BHAs since it can make the products work stronger to the point it can irritate your skin - is that true? If so, could I apply my retinoid at night, wait x amount of time, then follow up with Vaseline? Or should I treat vaseline like a face mask and only do it a few times a week (and if so... what if anything should I layer underneath?)I would really appreciate any tips you guys have. Sorry if I missed this information in the sidebar somewhere - I just want to be the best slug I can be! ☺️PS: if you see anything horrifying about my routine, CCW. I'm new to SCA!
