[Product Question] Did anyone purge really badly from The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid Toning solution?

I just started using this the other week and I have these red pimple-like things everywhere. They‘re no whiteheads and no pus comes out. I know purging can occur but this bad? From a simple toner? I‘m really scared it’s just irritating me and will do further damage.. any experiences?
