[Skin Concerns] Being gentle just isn't working, I tried it for 3 years, I'm moving on.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I tried doing it your way SCA. I used only the gentlest cleansers. Stridex occasionally, but mostly cerave hydrating followed by moisturizer, or just water and gentle hand scrubbing in the shower followed by a light moisturizer.Every time my skin would just get oily and break out with red, angry pimples all down my back. Finally after trying it all I read all the "My boyfriend just does this stupid thing and it works" and decided fuck it, maybe guys are different.I started just using old spice body wash and my acne level dropped from 10-12 active pimples on my back to something like this: https://i.imgur.com/KuoeQKT.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/65RY3lv.jpgStill not great, still a bunch of active pimples, but no clusters, they're all spread out. No really big cysts. So I decided to try using something I don't think SCA would ever recommend, I got Biore charcoal cleanser, then followed it up with Amlactin which normally breaks me out because of how heavy it is.2 days into it https://i.imgur.com/y8Vx8Wd.jpgOne active pimple.Like idk. I tried the gentle thing. It didn't work.I guess if there's a point to this, it's that you should do what works for you, because sometimes the dogma isn't always what's best for you.Now I just hope all this scarring and PIH fades.
