Beauty Tips For Body Care
Before: https://imgur.com/a/eHUoZ and https://m.imgur.com/a/tpiqP these photos do not do justice. It was much worseAfter: https://imgur.com/a/1UEov and https://imgur.com/a/TbgZvMy skin one month after Tretinoin: https://m.imgur.com/a/HqzY9After two-three months of Tretinoin my skin only had PIH but that went away in a few more months. I also never popped a pimple so that probably helped a lot.First off, this sub is great and my skin completely did a 180 in just a few months once I found a proper routine. Now it's nearly perfect! All my life I had great skin, other than a few random pimples as everyone gets. A few months into me turning 18 I started to get a few pimples and tried a few acne ointments to help. This was my skin when it started to get bad. https://imgur.com/a/Va2j2I did Pualas choice BHA with some Nuetrogeana cleanser, I think that really cuased me to break out. I will never touch another Nuetrogeana product again( other than their sunscreen) The BHA seemed to have no effect. I gave it a month and gave up on it.When my acne started to pickup I was working at a bakery so I was eating a lot of sugar. I believe that had a huge effect on my skin. After the failed BHA and Nuetrogeana my skin turned into https://m.imgur.com/a/eHUoZ It really sucked. I would have 5+ white heads almost everyday. That photo doesn't do it justiceI finally went to a Dermatologist. He prescribed me Tretinoin %0.05 and topical Clindamycin. He recommended benzoyl peroxide and a gentler cleanser and moisturizer. I didn't use the Tretinoin for a few months cuase I was afraid it would mess up my skin even worse. After restricting my diet and exercising with little change I finially decided to give them a try. (It was a great choice). I also luckly had almost no breakout peroid. All my pimples just started to shrink insteadMy routine was AM:•Shower and not let any soap touch my face. Only cool water.•After drying I left my skin alone for 5 or so minutes•Then apply Clindamycin let that soak in for 10 or so minutes•Moisturize with CeraVe Facial Moisturizer AM. 30 spf•apply a small amount of Ultra Sheer Dry Touch 55 spfPM routine• Cleanse with Cetaphil Gental Skin Cleanser• apply Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5%) I used Walgreens name brand•let skin dry for 30 minutes•apply Tretinoin %0.05•leave skin alone for an hour.•When I started I used Vasoline before bed but once my skin adapted I started to use my AM moisturizer or none at all. My roommate had a Humidifier which probably helped a lot.Now I barely do anything other than Cleanse moisturizer and sometimes use Tretinoin (maybe once a week) and Benzoyl Peroxide.I also try to stay away from milk. Cheese doesn't seem to have too big of an effectThanks for reading
