Scar ointments are mostly silicone, will TO silicone primer help with scarring because it's basically 100% silicone? I have scars all over my face, from acne scars on my cheeks, to two dog bites around my mouth area. I like to wear foundation to cover them (to the best of their ability, so not much) and ointments like Scar Away look bad underneath it, and the sheets arent realistic for someone who wears makeup or wants to be seen in public.Any other advice for minimizing scarring is helpful also. I have ice pick and boxcar scars on my cheeks, and a raised hyperteophic scar on my nasal fold area and upper lip. I've tried fraxel laser and it was a waste of money for me
