Beauty Tips For Body Care
From what I understood, sebum production is controlled by hormonal signals, which can include many causality factors, and/or genetics. But I’ve searched, and searched some more and can’t find anything that conclusively states that dehydrated skin some how causes increased sebum production. I’m not going to take the word of a beauty blogger who doesn’t cite references as gospel. Can anyone provide any resources?I have dehydrated skin. I notice less dehydration in my skin when I drink more water and use humectants. I do not have oily skin. I’ve never had oily skin. I have discovered that I don’t really have dry skin either, unless I’ve just done a peel. If I followed the logic that dehydrated skin leads to more oil production, it would stand to reason that I’d have some oil on my skin. I don’t have any.Just looking for conclusive studies.
