My Cheapskate skincare tips, please share more! [Miscellaneous]

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I am a broke student on a budget, so I have to find ways to cut the cost of my skincare. I'd love to hear your cheapskate secrets! Here's a few of mine:pumps and dispensers are your friends! I never throw away a bottle with a pump/spray/dispensers type lid. I love to repurpose them (after being thoroughly cleaned) for dispensing exactly the amount of product I need.a fairly obvious one: cut open all of your bottles, tubes ect to salvage any remaining product. I usually then use a mini spatula (mines a kids glue spatula thing) to scrape the remaining product into another pot.I was gifted a fairly expensive facial exfoliating brush thing (the kind that whizzes round. I have no idea what they're called). It broke. I have since found that a dry, clean, cotton sock is just as good at buffing away dead skin. I use a black one and you can SEE the amount of skin that comes off. I recommend this a lot on this sub- I am the crazy sock lady.I wanted to buy some microfiber cloths for drying my face. A facial microfibre cloth was £3... A pack of 5 for cleaning your car was a pound in the poundstore. Same goes for a muslin cloth, a pack of five meant for babies was a pound. Get creative with your shopping!recently I ran out of nip+fab pads. I couldn't afford another pack. I bought a 6 pack sample pot on Amazon for a pound, cut them all in half, made them last a fortnight.-this individual face mask sachets always have way too mush product. I just half, roll up the top, and secure with a bobby pin.as you may have noticed, I halve a lot of things. Hydrocolloid patches are no exception.im always gifted a ton of body butter every Christmas that I barely use. I've started using it as shaving cream for my legs. So silky! And that horribly drying soap you always get is repurposed as room freshener.
