Beauty Tips For Body Care
Today we are going to talk about Rodan + Fields skincare, that have taken over facebook feeds. For those who don't know about Rodan + Fields, they are a multi-level marketing company and are the makers of the well-known Proactiv (which is drying to the skin and causes more damage in the long-run). I'm here to tell you three reasons why you should avoid using R + F products. They are very overpriced. For the hundreds of dollars spent on R + F, you could buy much better products that don't have all the added chemicals. They use MLM strategies. They force salespeople to post manipulated Before and After Pictures, a tactic used in MLM companies to make people believe that the product works better than anything they've ever seen before. Before pictures feature darker lighting with no make-up applied. After pictures feature brighter lighting, which hides flaws on the face. And they have makeup, foundation applied. Which is why the after picture makes R+F look like a skin miracle. See pictures here that are found shared on Facebook and created by the R + F sellers aka "consultants". That's just the surface of the problems within R+F. To sell R+F, you have to buy a $600 kit and also buy about $100 of their own product a month. They lie about how much money a new sales member/"consultant" can actually make. 90% of their consultants make only $250 to $2,300 a year. About 6% make around $7,000 a year. And only the top 0.04% are making over $500,000. Income Sheet Here. They use questionable chemicals that are fillers and fragrances. Also just basic chemicals that are no better than the skin products you use in your own routine. Here are the ingredients that are in R+F products. As you can see, it's nothing special. And it's definitely not formulated with genuine concern for its customers. There's even a pending lawsuit due to Lash Boost as seen here.If Rodan and Fields really cared about it's customers - they would stop selling by using manipulated multi-level marketing tactics, lower the price of their products to make them affordable for all, and re-formulate all products focusing on quality rather than quantity (making them fragrance-free, preservative-free, and hypoallergenic).
