Cerave Moisturizing Cream and I have had an odd relationship. When I first started using it, it felt like a film and I wasn't sure if I liked it. Sometimes when I used it, I would get a couple of very small, very surface level open whiteheads when I woke up. It would feel almost greasy at times, and felt like it never fully absorbed. If I wore it during the daytime, my face would feel sticky and I'd have to avoid anything touching my face at all day, otherwise run the risk of something sticking to it. It's such a large tub so, I kept working with it to try make friends since it was making my skin soft and plump, but was having trouble.My solution now has been to apply it to my wet face, after using a hydrating toner or misting down with plain water, wet my hands, pump a little bit onto my fingers, rub it together, and apply onto my face. It feels a little odd in all honesty, and I have to rub it in for a good 30 seconds to prevent it from drying with steaks, but I find that it absorbs much better. I'll usually go in 5 minutes after when it's completely taken in by my skin and do the same thing to apply a second thin layer.
