As probably a fair number of you know, CeraVe PM recently disappeared off shelves, then reappeared with a slightly different label/bottle. I thought the change was just cosmetic, especially since the people I've talked to have insisted that it must be the same formula since at first glance the ingredients list was really more "rearranged" than dramatically changed.However, I can safely say that, no, the product isn't the same anymore. I actually hadn't noticed the design change (because of who I am as a person), but I was starting to have a couple old skin problems -- excess oil production and redness, especially on my nose -- crop up after years of keeping them at bay. I was stumped since, to the extent of my knowledge, nothing in my routine had changed. Well, I did some Googling and discovered that the formula was in fact modified, and even if it was just adjusting the quantities of some ingredients, apparently it's enough to make a difference. I cut open my old bottle for comparison and side-by-side it's actually quite noticeable, as the new formula feels significantly thinner and almost a little greasy.The bad news is that I guess my old HG doesn't work for me anymore. But, on the bright side, if the old formula didn't work for you, it could be worth re-trying it I guess? Has anybody else had issues with the new formula, or is it just me?
