[Review] Holy crap, spearmint tea...

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I don't know if "review" even applies here since this is not a beauty product but... I can't believe I'm saying this. I have become a full believer in spearmint tea for hormonal acne! I'm generally the type to be extremely science based when it comes to skincare, and am suspicious of herbal remedies in general, so this is something I never, ever thought would work. I only tried it after reading that it's affects are similar to using Spiro (something I haven't tried due to lack of healthcare).I have been broken out in cysts, pustules, and white heads all along my entire jawline for about... coming up on five years now? Yeah, I know ridiculous. It would always get way worse around my period but even when it was in remission, it never truly went away - all that changed was the severity of the breakout, not the existence of a breakout.I started trying everything recommended on here, essentially - Cetaphil and Cerave both made me worse, the latter of which actually gave me some horrible scarring on my cheeks. I used a sulfur ointment and it helped a tiny bit but not enough to justify how drying it was. About a year ago I pretty much just resigned myself to the fact that I would have gnarly, painful zits along my jawline forever.Well, awhile back I saw someone mention in passing that spearmint helped them. I kind of rolled my eyes thinking "placebo effect" (because I'm an asshole) but I picked up a box as a last ditch "haha, this won't ever work" effort. Cheaper than skincare products and less scary than putting something on my face, so why not?I don't have before and afters for you guys because well, the shame about my skin has made me avoid cameras for quite some time... but what I can tell you is that after 1.5 weeks of drinking this stuff, my jaw has almost cleared up for the first time in YEARS! I still have a few scant baby zits (three!!!) but no longer is my entire jawline coated in a smorgasbord of deep, throbbing cysts and white heads. I can actually lay my head down at night without it hurting. It's amazing to think I lived that way for so long, having never heard about spearmint as an option. This has genuinely changed my life - my skin is still not perfect (currently got some uglies on my cheekbones that I think are from my shampoo, unfortunately) but at least I'm not in pain anymore! I literally can not remember the last time my jawline was this clear, it must've been around 2013.
