Beauty Tips For Body Care
I know in the past few months there has been heated debate on this sub about humour posts which led to the mods implementing casual Fridays. It's only been two or three weeks but I think most users would agree that this has been a tremendous improvement. I'm wondering if we could start a similar discussion about selfie posts that do not include a before picture. I know that the tag itself is labelled "Selfie/B&A" however I question how beneficial to this sub selfies are on their own. This is a community to share skincare knowledge. Transformative before and afters can be very inspirational and informative when they truly document an individuals skin history and routine. However in the past months I've noticed an influx of posts including just a selfie, often with a title such as "Thanks SCA, my skin is looking so great these days." I really truly do not intend to put down these individual posters as they likely have gone through a skincare journey like the rest of us. However, while these posts often do not generate any substantive conversation they are often the most upvoted posts on this sub. What are we saying as a sub when our most popular posts are selfies of folks with clear skin and comments simply praising their looks and not initiating any kind of discussion. I'd like for this post to start a dialogue on this issue!
