Beauty Tips For Body Care
I apologize sincerely for the lack of pictures, but you'll just have to believe me. :)This weekend, I was in a very hot and humid Chicago, eating garbage and drinking too much. A recipe for fungus. Upon returning to Colorado, I immediately felt about 10 red, itchy pimples forming on my chin and hairline. One of them came to a lovely whitehead yesterday while I was at work, but the others were brewing beneath the surface. When I got home, I washed my face and applied PTR Therapeutic Sulfur mask to the affected areas (side note: keep that shit so far from your eyes; it will burn them) for about 20 minutes, followed by a bunch of squalane and then my good old clotrimazole cream (generic Up and Up Atheletes Foot cream). I know others on here are huge fans of Nizoral and other dandruff shampoos, but I just find them too drying and too inconvenient to use. When I woke up this morning, most of the pimples were gone or quickly receding. And none of them have swelled up and gotten painful, as my pimples usually do. I think I'm on the mend! I just wanted to share that quick and easy routine for others who tend to break out in clusters. I personally believe these type of cluster breakouts to be fungal, though I don't believe that I have a persistent fungal problem. Between the clusters and for months at a time, I have clear skin and don't follow a particular antifungal skincare routine.
