Beauty Tips For Body Care
it is as the title states. i’m feeling pretty down now, due to a recent experience i had.so i’m 19, currently still a student but i’ve been working part time jobs for a few months to save up some money. i love my mom and she’s my whole world, she put me first in every situation since young and i just felt i wanted to give back to her. she’s in her early 50s, and has been telling me how her skin looks really saggy and she has lots of pigmentation and it’s making her feel self conscious. so i thought with the money i had saved up, i would bring her for a day out of pampering.we decided to go for a spa day which included a facial treatment, among other things and after she picked out a place, i made a booking and that was settled.on that day we went and we were lying side by side for the facials. the facial lady was pretty outspoken and started making comments about my skin, like she was talking to herself but at a pretty loud volume so we could both hear her. now my skin isn’t that great, i have acne prone sensitive oily skin, hormonal breakouts on my chin and pores full of SFs. the lady started mentioning how terrible my skin was and started lecturing me on how to properly care for my skin (when i already have a routine and everything) and she kept saying “how ugly i looked” and how i “would never find a boyfriend to love me” (i already do have a bf)the worst part was when she loudly declared, “well your skin must be so bad because your mother never taught you how to care for it! from the looks of it, she doesn’t care much for looking pretty either!” i. was. so. mad. we left there soon after that but my mom was really quiet and i guess she took it to heart.some people really need to be a little more sensitive... words are so powerful. don’t you just hate it when people make comments like that?
