[Acne] You have a crazy breakout - what is your emergency go-to routine?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I want to know your go-to steps/treatments in your routine when you suddenly have a bad breakout/flareup.I am getting better, things aren't perfect but I am learning more and more how to read and manage my skin.Me:- Gently (barely touching my face) wash with PCA Blemish Control bar- TO Coldpress Organic Rosehip oil (1-2 drops max)- Avene Cicalfate Restorative Cream (liberally, night time only)- Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch (where needed)- Drink loads of water- Make sure I am exercising regularly and breaking a sweat when doing soThen, evaluate:- Am I stressed? Have I had enough sleep?- When was the last time I changed my pillow case?- What have I been eating the last couple days?- Have I tried any new products recently?- Am I exfoliating too vigorously or too often?Things I've learned:I use to use Benzoyl Peroxide or a clay mask to dry out pimples/bad breakouts, which does help initially but it disrupts the moisture barrier therefore leaving me prone to more breakouts. So I tend to moisturize more now when I have a skin disruptions versus trying to dry things out.I have a couple different types of breakouts:Sometimes, it is hormones or stress (cystic or pustules around the mouth/chin/jawline). These are influenced sometimes by sugar intake which I try to limit during this time.Other times, it is irritation from me scrubbing too hard in the shower or touching my face too often (tiny tight fluid filled pustules around mouth, frown lines, and nose). These I treat by being more gentle and using the Avene Cicalfate Restorative Cream (serious healing magic in a tube). And finally, bacterial, which happens if I don't wash my face often enough or touch my face too often (lots of inflammation, white heads on forehead, temples, along hairline that seems to spread easily). This is the ONLY time I will spot treat with benzoyl peroxide, as it seems to be the only thing that kills the bacteria and stop the spread. What have YOU learned along the way?
