[Acne] I've been getting this weird acne/cyst thing around my ears for YEARS (5+) that never fully heal and I don't know what to do!!

Now when I go any new doctors, they say the only thing that might work is Accutane...?I've considered surgery, but docs said it will just make it worst.Before I went on Accutane, sometimes it would get inflamed and then get really big with like fluid/puss and then it would drain and then scar over. This doesn't happen anymore. What I believe is the problem is that there are cysts just under the skin level that won't let it fully heal, but only on some parts where I can feel the cyst. Basically it looks like it is a rash and never fully heals and it is driving me mad. I need suggestions!!!!
