After so long of applying 2% salicylic acid to my sebaceous filaments with basically no results, I started mixing it with a heavy duty moisturizer. I had read on here that moisturizer can stop your skin from thinking it needs to produce more oil, and had been moisturizing separately from the salicylic acid but I’ve found this to be way more effective. It’s like the BHA fights them while the moisturizer prevents new ones. I mix them on the back of my hand. Been applying the mixture twice a day or more and within a few days the SF were smaller than ever before!
