Beauty Tips For Body Care
I’m here to say, don’t knock it down until you’ve tried it. Using Retin-A slow and steady, only once a week is working for me. Has anybody else had used this same schedule (or lack there of)? This past year, my face went from all-over smooth to one-finger width of clear skin. In the end, my forehead and chin were covered with closed comedones, forehead, cheeks, and jawline had a new cyst pimple pop up every 3 days and would last for two or more weeks, sprinkled around were a few random blackheads, and sebaceous filaments on my nose. After my doctor prescribed retin-a cream .025, I spent too much time worrying, researching, asking questions, trying to prepare myself for the worst of the worst before actually using it. I searched high and low in Reddit for warning signs and reassurance. Finally taking the bullet, I started in the end of June/beginning of July. Initially my plan was to apply it once a week for a month, then increase. Due to the summer sun and the time spent outside, I’ve continued on the same schedule. Now, my skin is smooth again without the CC’s, blackheads gone, SF’s still around (didn’t expect Tret to fix this anyways), and old pimples cleared out, I’ll get at most two new ones around day 6, but they clear up within 3 days. With once a week use, the cell turnover and wrinkle reducing side effects is obvious to me. I didn’t have any purging, peeling, or extra dryness. My skin can be a little tight, but that happened before too. I don’t want to waste the large bottle of Aquaphor I bought, but I haven’t needed it for my face.In the end, everybody will react differently.
