I’m sharing this in the hope that it will help someone with the same kind of problem out! So as the title says, I’m autistic and sometimes I have periods of time (days, weeks, even a couple of months occasionally) where I get so burnt out and overstimulated and overwhelmed that doing any sort of skincare routine is impossible.For the last two weeks I’ve been absolutely making myself wipe my face thoroughly with micellar water after my shower where I wash my face with Simple refreshing gel cleanser. I keep the micellar water (nothing fancy, just garnier) and the cotton pads on the sink so can’t forget and I do it while I brush my teeth.My acne covered skin is nearly as clear as It is when I do my whole routine, so I couldn’t be happier. Cleanse your face properly, pals, even when you can’t do anything else. You’ll be surprised at what a difference it makes.tl;dr - double cleaning your face makes your skin happy even if you do nothing else
