[PSA] I went to a very highly rated, expensive derm and this is what she said:

Beauty Tips For Body Care
This is the derm that the super rich Los Angeles housewives see and have no issues spending thousands of dollars on treatments. My conditions: mild acne scars, mild wrinkling, mild acne, mild pigmentation issues, large pores. I'm in my mid 20s.Her diagnosis: Suncreen and Retin-A.I mentioned a bunch of other stuff like vitamin c, vitamin e, other possible topicals as well as benzoyl peroxide for acne. She basically said retin-a does everything those things do but better. She said do 6 months of retin-a then come back and see if i want to add anything, but made it sounds like those other things were kinda mehh.I also suggested doing microneedling or lasers. She said do retin-a then come back and see if that makes enough difference. she also said she didn't think the microneedling/lasers would make much of a difference.RetinA costs 50 bucks a month without insurance or super cheap with insurance. She said she prescribes almost all her patients RetinA.TL;DR RetinA is a wonder drug and you should use it and its not that expensive.
