Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've been using the 7% glycolic from the ordinary for about 3 weeks. Now, I didn't expect all (or even most) of my cc's to clear up by now but I feel like I should have been purging more than I have been (It's been super, super slow). My skin is the opposite of sensitive (seriously, this thing could survive an acid bath). The only things In my routine I can identify that could cause problems are fatty alcohols, because I don't feel like the cc's are improving any. for reference,Morning-Wash face with either just a moist wash cloth or a toner (sometimes a makeup wipe)essence (high moist)Cerave moisturizing lotion (this is a lil bit thinner and absorbs better than the tub)(Sometimes I'll use random sample moisturizers I have on hand)trader joe's stick sunscreen (oil based so I can skip putting oil on, otherwise I combine jojoba with the cerave)I also have a diy mix of oil, nutrogena spf 110 suscreen, cerave cream, and essence in a lil bottle for when I'm in a hurryNight-Cleansing oil OR makeup remover OR ponds cucumber (whatever's on hand)Cleanser (trader joe's spa, i find this dries me out less) OR micellar water / toneressence (high moist) this step is to rehydrate before the AHA so less of a chance of messing up the moisture barrier7% Glycolic acid (wait for this to do it's thing)essence (high moist)jojoba oil (one drop on chin, one on each cheek, one on forehead)Cerave moisturizing lotion (right after so the oil combines)my skin LOVES oil and LOVES water. I would use just oil but oil doesn't go under makeup well
