[Humor] CeraVe in the tub-HORRIBLE experience

Beauty Tips For Body Care
So I've been reading on this sub for a while now and I've seen so much lauding of CeraVe in the tub for superior and cost effective body moisturization. I thought I'd follow suit.Upon getting the CeraVe I dispensed it into my bathtub slowly and let the water run. Definitely wasn't expecting the super oily residue! Talk about those emollients. So after the tub was full I proceeded to get in and relax as usual.I spent the 10 minutes watching my newly added CeraVe lotion residue float around on the surface of the water, thinking "wow, so this is what everyone on the sub is raving about?" I definitely was skeptical, but assumed the kick came from the after-effect, when I left the bath after absorbing the water-dissolved CeraVe lotion from the bath into my skin. You know, because hot water opens pores and helps it enter.Upon draining and leaving the tub, to my dismay I quickly found my skin to be dry and chapped after leaving the bathroom! At that point I really wondered how on earth this whole CeraVe in the tub thing could gain so much popularity when it simply floats in the hot water and the bath dries your skin out! When I went back to Target, I told them how I added it to the bath tub and it didn't do anything helpful! They looked bewildered for some reason but quickly gave me my money back.Needless to say, I think this sub needs to think more thoroughly about what's promoted as a hot trend. Skincare should work and be good for our money's worth.I hope you all have considered this recount thoroughly, and I am looking forward to seeing new, more effective methods posted on here.
