Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey guys,Before i start, i just want to say that i am fully 100% aware of the dangers of smoking and how bad it is for your body and for those around you. I've been a smoker since i was about 16, I am 22 now. I probably smoke half a pack a day, slightly more if i'm drinking (once every 2-3 weeks)My skin is painfully dry and sensitive, even when i use the thickest moisturisers (like Welda skin food) mixed in with rosehip oil, it will absorb and leave my skin bone dry within an hour or two. Apart from the smoking i have a healthy lifestyle, i drink about 2/3 litres of water a day, exercise several times a week and eat a diet rich in fruit and veg with very little dairy and no meat/fish/eggs. I supplement with b12 and d3.I don't have any acne but i do have really large blocked pores pretty much all over my face apart from my jawline and forehead. I also have grey/purple patches and some yellow patches around my nose with i realise is probably linked to the smoking. My morning routine is just rinsing my face with water, TO ha + b3, and then the TO moisturiser mixed with rosehip oil. I do the same as night but i wipe my face with micellar water and rinse it off before the next steps, and often finish off the Welda skin food right before i go to sleep.Does anyone have any experiences or thoughts on the effects of smoking on skin? Have any ex-smokers noticed a improvement in their skin after quitting? I quit smoking when i was 19 for a year and didn't really notice much difference but i'm also not the most attentive person when it comes to skin.Edit: the reason i actually quit smoking the first time was because i felt like my mouth area looked gross. I am lucky to have naturally white teeth (why i still have white teeth is beyond me) but i was paranoid about wrinkles around my mouth.
