[Misc] Anyone else have an SO that nearly rips your face off every time you try to kiss them?

My bf has ridiculous facial hair. He shaves every week, but it grows fast. It’s also thick and spiky, so it feels like a million little knives stabbing my face. The area around my mouth is always very dry, and sometimes feels ‘raw’ even after just simple kissing!I’ve already convinced him to start using sunscreen and moisturizer (he has naturally amazing skin, so he has never used products in his life). I don’t want to be too demanding! But my face also hurts.Does this happen to anyone else? Any advice?
