Beauty Tips For Body Care
A few months ago I posted on here asking whether there was a skin care only subscription box similar to IPSY and Birch Box. I thought there other services were just for makeup, but it turns out IPSY has an extensive questionnaire asking for your preferences, which allows you to heavily prioritize skincare. I went through it and (with the exception of brow makeup), said that I “rarely” wanted all of the makeup, nail polish, fragrance, and hair products and that I “often” wanted all of the skincare products (including the body and face stuff, lip balm, and setting spray).I also marked that I was uncomfortable with makeup/rarely wear it; am open to receiving all brands; have all of the “skin concerns” (e.g. large pores, oily, dry, aging, acne, etc); and I increased my age from 26 to 35.The ResultsIn my first glam bag, I will be receiving:• Neogen Dermatology Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser• Benefit BADgal BANG volumizing mascara• Goldfaden MD Vital Boost Even Skintone Daily Moisturizer• BareMinerals Dew Mist Setting Spray• Estate Cosmetics Lip Icing in DripI also added on a deluxe Sunday Riley sample for $3, which was a great deal (at full value, the same amount of product is worth $15)TL;DR: they did an okay job at giving me several skincare products. I don’t know if I technically consider setting spray to be a “skincare” item, but they listed it on the skincare preferences page, and I marked that I wanted it often, so I can’t blame them. So all in all, they gave me 3 “skincare” items, but gave me 2 makeup items that I said I wanted rarely.
