Beauty Tips For Body Care
For the past few months, I’ve been struggling with my skin due to hormonal imbalances and gastrointestinal (GI) problems that have plagued me since last August. It’s been insane...Dry patchesPainful hormonal breakouts and not even around the time of PMSHyperpigmentation (mild PIH/PIE) from those breakoutsUneven skin tone that was dull and dehydratedBlackheads on my nose (These won’t go away, but they aren’t as bad as they once were)Today, I sent a selfie to a guy that I’ve started talking with, and he responds how pretty I looked and my makeup looked great as well. But - I’m not wearing any foundation, concealer! Only mascara. I almost cried. I’ve been so insecure for a while now over my skin that getting these compliments, they mean so much to me.Although my skin is not, nor will ever be “perfect”, I’m so happy with it that I’ve gone without makeup! I still have a while to go in terms of fading a couple hyperpigmentation marks and taking care of a few small CCs on my temple. And I have all thanks to SCA and the advice given by y’all that I’ve spoke with on the platform. 😊Don’t give up y’all. Keep going even when it seems like it won’t get better; it will. Here’s my routine, for those who are curious:AM: - Cool water - Fresh Rose Hydration Toner - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water-Gel Cream for Extra Dry Skin - LRP Toleriane Ultra Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin - Derma E Scar Gel - If I go outside: SunBum Face Lotion SPF 50PM: - Vanicream Gentle Cleanser - Every day (as of Monday): Differin Gel ~ Wait 30 minutes to sink in ~ - Fresh Rose Hydration Toner - LRP Toleriane Ultra Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin - Derma E Scar GelA selfie
