Beauty Tips For Body Care
This is not super scientific at all and I can’t say it is completely accurate but it is interesting nonetheless. I thought I’d try a little homemade test to see the effectiveness of sunscreens I own. I put a thin layer of sunscreen on each of the plastic bags (except the control, not pictured here). I let it dry and then used a Solarmeter 5.7 which tests total UVA + UVB and put it though the bag directly at the sun. I repeatedly took measurements of each bag to make sure I didn’t capture outliers. The photos shown below reflect average numbers I observed. I put the same amount of sunscreen on each bag but some dried more clear than others. All measurements are uW/cm2 which means micro watts per square centimeter.Direct to sun: 1149Through bag (no sunscreen): 327Thinksport SPF 50: 232Blue Lizard sensitive SPF 30: 217La roche posay anthelios xl comfort lotion spf 50+ (European version): 68Bioderma photoderm max spf 50+ (European version): 59https://imgur.com/gallery/HQJ2Reo[photos of test ](https://imgur.com/gallery/HQJ2Reo)
